Astro Coffee

DETROIT, MI - In Corktown, Detroit, this little spot finds itself tucked cozily between brick walls and a street full of murals. The art reminds you just how tenacious and creative Detroiters really are, which to me makes the Astro Coffee experience all-the-better. I had the chance to visit Astro Coffee with a whole crew, so we had the chance to try a few things:

• oat mocha: not ultra-sweet, allowing this more bitter-chocolate mocha to complement the espresso beautifully. Gorgeous latte art, too, which always tells me the barista knows a thing or two.

• iced latte with unsalted butter !! - the butter doesn’t add much flavor, but does create an ultra-smooth finish on the drink. Always love to try unique menu options like this one!

• an artful cappuccino

• iced tea (yumm)
